The contest is to encourage game developers from eligible countries to create innovative playable game demos and compete for the chance to win exciting cash prizes and achieve greater exposure in the gaming industry. Contest winners in the major prize categories may also be given the opportunity to turn their game demos into fully playable game titles and sign a Steam online gaming platform commercial distribution contract with Valve Corporation at Valve Corporation’s sole discretion.
